Summary
Authorization to establish a sole source designation for continued use of Intrado Life & Safety Solution’s ECaTS statistical package to perform web based queries of 911 statistics. Prior sole source for the same product was by its former name, West E-Cats. This is a unique software and the availability of software and services to perform these tasks on a regional, enterprise level is very limited and only the product from ECaTs has been successfully implemented in several states while meeting all security and NENA standards. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Enhanced 911, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to continue use of Intrado Life & Safety Solution’s ECaTs statistical package from Intrado Life & Safety Solution, a sole source provider.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $7,579.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Intrado Life & Safety Solution from account #4204-505602-76102.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
