An Ordinance pursuant to section 6.12 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government charter abolishing the div. of risk management; abolishing one (1) position of Dir. of Risk Management, Grade 532E, abolishing one (1) position of Manager of Safety and Loss Control, Grade 526E, abolishing one (1) position industrial Hygiene/Loss Control Specialist, Grade 520E, abolishing one (1) position of Risk Management Analyst, Grade 519E, all in the Div. of Risk Management; creating one (1) position of Human Resources Manager of Safety and Loss Control, Grade 526E, creating one (1) position of Safety and Loss Control Specialist, Grade 520E, creating one (1) position of Risk Analyst, Grade 519E, all in the Div. of Human Resources; amending the Classified Civil Service authorized strength; transferring the incumbents at their current pay grade and salary; adjusting job titles as needed; abolishing one (1) position of Administrative Specialist Sr. P/t, Grade 516N in the Div. of Risk Management and creating one (1) position of Administrative Specialist Sr. P/t, Grade 516N the Div. of Human Resources; amending the Unclassified Civil Service authorized strength; transferring the incumbent at her current pay grade and salary; changing the name of the Div. of Adult and Tenant Services to the Div. of Community and Resident Services; amending the Unclassified Civil Service authorized strength creating one (1) position of Clerical Assistant P/T, Grade 505N, in the Div. of Aging and Disabilities Services; effective retroactive to July 1, 2020.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the name of the Division of Adult and Tenant Services be and herby is changed to the Division of Community and Resident Services.
Section 2 - That the Division of Risk Management be and hereby is abolished.
Section 3 - That subsection line numbers 470.010, 470.020, 470.060, and 470.080 in the Classified Civil Service Authorized Strength be and hereby are deleted.
Section 4 - That subsection line number 470.020 in the Unclassified Civil Service Authorized Strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 5 - That the following subsection line numbers in the Classified Civil Service Authorized Strength be and hereby are created as follows:
460.015 1 155 526E HR Manager of Safety and Loss Control
460.025 1 158 520E Safety and Loss Control Specialist
460.040 1 152 519E Risk Analyst
Section 6 - That the following subsection line number in the Unclassified Civil Service Authorized Strength be and hereby is created as follows:
460.020 1 110 516N Administrative Specialist Sr. P/T
615.050 1 102 505N Clerical Assistant P/T
Section 7 - That the following employees be and hereby are transferred as follows:
A. That Michael Skidmore be and hereby is transferred from the Division of Risk Management to the Division of Human Resources at his current pay grade and salary and that his job title be changed from Manager of Safety and Loss Control to Human Resources Manager of Safety and Loss Control.
B. That Jada Griggs be and hereby is transferred from the Division of Risk Management to the Division of Human Resources at her current pay grade and salary and that her job title be changed from Industrial Hygiene and Loss Control Specialist to Human Resources Safety and Loss Control Specialist.
C. That Denia Channels be and hereby is transferred from the Division of Risk Management to the Division of Human Resources at her current pay grade and salary and that her job title be changed from Risk Management Analyst to Risk Analyst.
D. That Angela Parker be and hereby is transferred from the Division of Risk Management to the Division of Human Resources at her current job classification, pay grade and salary.
