Summary
Authorization to execute an Agreement with Get Outside Ky for non-motorized watercraft rental services at Jacobson Park and Kelley’s Landing to provide outfitting services at Jacobson Park and Kelley’s Landing during the 2026 season. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Agreement (awarded pursuant to RFP # 8-2026), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Get Outside KY (GOKY), for the provision of non-motorized watercraft rental services at Kelley’s Landing Park and Jacobson Park Reservoir, with a fee equal to ten percent (10%) of gross sales, less applicable sales tax, paid to the Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
