WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Action Match Program has provided an important vehicle for neighborhoods to complete long-term neighborhood improvements; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the guidelines established in Resolution No. 237-85, as amended by Resolution No. 129-88, Resolution No. 128-97, and Resolution No. 606-2000, program funds can only be used for certain eligible activities; and
WHEREAS, the guidelines for eligible activities and requirements have recently been reviewed and amendments have been recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the guidelines for the Neighborhood Action Match Program, as established in Resolution No. 237-85, as amended by Resolution No. 129-88, Resolution No. 128-97, and Resolution No. 606-2000, be and hereby are amended to modify the program in-kind match requirement, to remove housing as an eligible activity, and to clarify other program requirements, and as otherwise reflected in the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, Division of Grants and Special Programs’ Neighborhood Action Match Program Guidelines and Application dated June 2017, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
