Summary
Authorization to accept deeds for fee simple acquisition of identified primary parcels on Clarksdale Court from owners of record in accordance with the award of federal funds from Kentucky Emergency Management under the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Assistance program. The Division of Water Quality is requesting authorization to accept fee simple title for each of the six primary parcels identified from owners of record at a cost not to exceed $949,800. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Certificate of Consideration and any other necessary documents, and to accept a deed for six (6) properties located at 1500, 1504, 1506, 1508, 1512, and 1514 Clarksdale Court under the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Assistance Program.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $949,800.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to property owners, plus usual and appropriate closing costs, all from account #3200-303204-92211 at the time of closing.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
