Summary
Authorization to change the position titles of Environmental Outreach Specialist (Grade 518E) in the Division of Waste Management and the Division of Environmental Services to Environmental Initiatives Specialist (Grade 518E); reclassifying the incumbents in the Divisions of Waste Management and Environmental Services, effective upon passage by Council. The Division of Human Resources is currently updating job descriptions. During this process, it was discovered that the two classifications were similar enough to be combined into one classification. Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is created to read as follows:

Section 3 - That the job title of the incumbent, Lauren Monahan, be and hereby is changed from Environmental Outreach Specialist to Environmental Initiatives Specialist, at the same grade and rate of pay.
Section 4 - That subsection line number 390.031 in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 5 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is amended to read as follows:

Section 6 - That the job title of the incumbent, Jennifer Myatt, be and hereby is changed from Environmental Outreach Specialist to Environmental Initiatives Specialist at the same grade and rate of pay.
Section 7 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on passage of Council.
