Summary

Authorization to approve Change Order #1, to Strand Associates, Inc.; the design consultant for the Town Branch WWTP Primary Digester Improvements project.  Approval of this Change Order results in an increase of $131,113.00 to the Contract.  The revised Contract amount including this Change Order will be $605,635.00 representing a 27.63% increase of the original Contract amount.                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Strand Associates, Inc., for the Town Branch Waste Water Treatment Plant Primary Digester Complex Improvements Project, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $131,113.00 from $474,522.00 to $605,635.00.

                     Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $131,113.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Strand Associates, Inc., from account # 4003 - 303401 - 92711 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
