BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute Subrecipient Agreements, the final form of which shall be subject to the approval of the Division of Grants and Special Programs and the Department of Law, with the following entities: Bluegrass Community and Technical College ($2,000,000.00), Lexington Public Library ($1,000,000.00), Lexington Community Radio, Inc. d/b/a RadioLEX ($78,000.00), Greenhouse17, Inc. ($400,000.00), Commerce Lexington Inc. ($991,000.00), Lexington Rescue Mission, Inc. ($350,000.00), and NAMI Lexington (Ky), Inc. ($170,000.00), allocating federal Grant funds received under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), for the purposes stated in the respective Agreements, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other necessary Agreements or documents related to these programs or projects.
Section 2 - That estimated amounts not to exceed the following sums stated be and hereby are approved for payment to each of the following entities contingent upon the approval of any necessary Budget amendments and pursuant and subject to the terms of the respective Agreements: (a) $2,000,000.00 to Bluegrass Community and Technical College from account # 3230-900115-71101; (b) $1,000,000.00 to Lexington Public Library from account # 3230-900605-71101; (c) $78,000.00 to Lexington Community Radio, Inc. d/b/a RadioLEX from account # 3230-900377-71101; (d) $400,000.00 to Greenhouse17, Inc., from account # 3230-900304-71101; (e) $991,000.00 to Commerce Lexington, Inc., from account # 3230-900101-1101; (f) $350,000.00 to Lexington Rescue Mission, Inc., from account # 3230-900250-71101; and (g) $170,000.00 to NAMI Lexington (Ky), Inc., from account # 3230-900349-1101 (FY23).
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective retroactively to February 17, 2022.
