BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute six Community Project Agreements, awarded pursuant to RFP No. 37-2023 and paid for with Grant funds awarded under the Nonprofit Capital Grants Program--Operational Investments, with each of the following entities: FoodChain, Inc., Gleanings Housing, Inc., Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Lexington Hearing and Speech Center, Mission Health Lexington, and YMCA of Central Kentucky.
Section 2 -- That amounts, not to exceed the following sums stated, be and hereby are approved for payment to each of the following entities, contingent upon the approval of any necessary Budget amendments, and pursuant and subject to the terms of the respective final Agreements:
(a) FoodChain, Inc. ($25,000.00), from account # 1101-900361-71101;
(b) Gleanings Housing, Inc. ($16,514.00), from account # 1101-900330-71101;
(c) Goodwill Industries of Kentucky ($25,000.00), from account # 1101-900331-71101;
(d) Lexington Hearing and Speech Center ($25,000.00), from account # 1101-900370-1101;
(e) Mission Health Lexington ($15,556.00), from account # 1101-900340-71101; and
(f) YMCA of Central Kentucky ($24,000.00), from account # 1101-900325-71101.
Section 3 - That the Mayor or her designee is further authorized to execute any other necessary amendments, addenda or other documents with these entities related to these funds.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of passage.
