BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the subrecipient agreements for funding from the Office of the Attorney General of Kentucky from the National Foreclosure Settlement Funds Memorandum of Agreement, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Fayette County Local Development Corporation, Hope Center, The Salvation Army, and Lexington Habitat for Humanity, to provide the various services related to the funding agreement with the Attorney General.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $100,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Fayette County Local Development Corporation (from account # 3400-900207-71101); that an amount not, to exceed the sum of $125,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Hope Center (from account # 3400-900311-71101); that an amount, not to exceed the sum of $125,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Lexington Habitat for Humanity (from account # 3400-900205-71101); and that an amount, not to exceed the sum of $50,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to The Salvation Army (from account # 3400-900317-71101), pursuant to the terms of the respective agreements.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
