BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, and as a result of the prior authorization of acceptance of Federal funds from the Surface Transportation Block Grant in Resolution 124-2024, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (“Cabinet”), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to update the Lexington Area Travel Demand Forecasting Model (TDFM), and further stipulating the role, responsibility, and cost share between the government and the Cabinet, as part of the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) FY 2025 Unified Planning Work Program, at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, estimated not to exceed the sum of $10,000.00, is hereby authorized for payment to the Cabinet from account #3160-160705-71299 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, subject to approval of the FY25 Budget amendment.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
