This is a request to execute Amendment No. 2 to agreement with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for extension of the performance period through June 30, 2015 and accepting an additional $25,000 in federal funding for the Downtown Lexington Traffic Movement and Revitalization Study and to approve execution of Change Modifications No. 1 and 2 to the Engineering Services Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc for changes in the scope of work and the additional amount of $25,000. This increase brings the total award to $490,000.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Amendment No. 2, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference to the Agreement, with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, for the acceptance of additional Federal funds in the amount of $25,000.00 for the Downtown Lexington Traffic Management and Revitalization Study and extension of the performance period through June 30, 2015. Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Modifications No. 1 and 2, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Engineering Services Agreement with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., for additional services for the Downtown Lexington Traffic Management and Revitalization Study.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed $25,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., from account #3160-160705-71299 pursuant to the terms of the modification to agreement.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
