This is a request to amend Sublease and Management Agreement with LEXARTS for the DAC. The agreement provides terms for the management and operation of a portion of the DAC and specifically excludes the private gallery space and café area. All operational or other terms and provisions of the original agreement shall remain unchanged and the period will be for twelve (12) months, beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 with an option of automatic renewal for one (1) additional one (1) year term.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute an amendment to the Sublease and Management Agreement (Contract # 4730) which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Lexington Arts and Cultural Council, Inc., for management and operation of the Downtown Arts Center.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
