BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, or her designee, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, by and through the University of Kentucky, a draft of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, the final form of which shall be subject to the approval of the Department of Law, for the new Police training academy project at Coldstream Research Campus, at a total cost not to exceed $437,850.00, and further authorizing the Mayor, or her designee, to execute all other necessary and related documents, and authorizing other necessary actions related to the property.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed $437,850.00, shall be appropriated by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for improvements at Legacy Business Park, subject to the passage of a Budget amendment moving such funds into the relevant account.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $437,850.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Commonwealth of Kentucky, by and through the University of Kentucky, from account #1105-707101-90111, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 4 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $52,542.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Cushman & Wakefield, U.S., Inc., from account #1105-707101-90111.
Section 5 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
