BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 -- That Resolution No. 398-2022 is hereby rescinded and replaced in its entirety with the foregoing.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Hope Center, Inc., in order to allocate $2,000,000.00 of federal Grant funds awarded pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), for the construction of a transitional housing addition, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other necessary Agreements or amendments with the Hope Center, Inc., related to the use of these funds.
Section 3 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $2,000,000.00, be and hereby is authorized for payment to the Hope Center, Inc., from account #3230-900311-71101, subject to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
