This is a request to amend the facilities maintenance agreement with Meridian Management Corporation for facility management services at the Fayette County Courthouses located at 120 & 150 North Limestone Street.  The amendment will extend the contract term for six (6) additional months, beginning July 13, 2012 through January 12, 2013 at an increase in cost of $3,500.00 per month.  Funds are budgeted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Amended Facilities Maintenance Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Meridian Management Corporation, for facility management services at the Fayette County Courthouses.
      Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $21,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Meridian Management Corporation, from account # 4022-707501-71299, pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
      Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
