BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the bid (awarded pursuant to RFP No. 7-2025) of Machinex Technologies Inc., in the amount of $1,939,674.00, for Materials Recovery Facility Optical Sorter and Robotics, for the Division of Waste Management, be and hereby is accepted and approved as to the specifications and amounts set forth in the terms of the bid, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the Urban County Government, to execute any necessary Agreement with Machinex Technologies Inc., related to the procurement.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $1,939,674.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Machinex Technologies Inc., from accounts #3170-303505-71299 ($1,800,000.00), 3170-303505-82301 ($100,000.00), and #3300-303501-71299 ($39,674.00), pursuant to the terms of the bid.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
