BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Renewal Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass to provide funding to assist with forensic interviews which will allow the Center to have extended hours of operation and additional slots for Police Department forensic interviews, for a 12-month period beginning on July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $50,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Children’s Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass from account # 1101-505506-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Renewal Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
