BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, awarding a Class A (Neighborhood) Grant to the Friends of Wolf Run, Inc., to perform stream cleanups, removal of invasive plant species, and planting of native vegetation along wolf run and its tributaries at various volunteer selected stewardship sites; provide education outreach by communication with streamside property owners and installation of educational signage at stewardship sites; and purchase of a multi-parameter water quality meter.
Section 2 - That an amount not to exceed $11,770.00 be and hereby is approved for payment to the Friends of Wolf Run, Inc., from account #4051-303204-78112, pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
