Summary
Authorization to engage Dinsmore & Shohl to advise the Department of finance on all legal matters related to bond issuances of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for Fiscal years 2016-2019. A bond counsel opinion is necessary for the issuance of bonds. There is no budgetary impact with this legislative item. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the response of Dinsmore & Shohl,  LLP, to RFP No. 03-2015 be and hereby is accepted, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the  Professional Services Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with  Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, to provide legal services related to the issuance of all Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government bonds for fiscal years 2016 through 2019, with the fees to be paid as a percentage or cost of each respective bond issuance.
       Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
