BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, as the Collaborative Applicant, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the 2026 Continuum of Care Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, which seeks up to $3,866,080.00 in Federal funds for the operation of Programs by Community Nonprofit Organizations to reduce homelessness in Lexington-Fayette County, and to accept an amount, up to $153,932.00, of the Grant funds, if the application is approved, for project planning expenses related to monitoring Programs funded by the Grant, the acceptance of which obligates the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of an amount, up to $38,483.00, as a local match.

                     Section 2 - That, if any application or any other necessary documents relating hereto have been executed prior to the passage of this Resolution, the execution of those documents be and hereby is ratified.

                     Section 3 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget established for this Grant.

                     Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
