WHEREAS, LFUCG and the Downtown Lexington Corporation d/b/a Downtown Lexington Partnership previously entered into a Purchase of Service Agreement, dated May 1, 2024 and authorized pursuant to Resolution #205-2024, at a cost of $10,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the services under the previous Contract were not provided, and LFUCG now desires to utilize the $10,000.00 previously provided to the Downtown Lexington Corporation d/b/a Downtown Lexington Partnership and an additional $15,000.00 from FY 2026 as payment under the current Purchase of Service Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Purchase of Service Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Downtown Lexington Corporation d/b/a Downtown Lexington Partnership to provide funding to conduct a Downtown Development Strategic Analysis and Overview for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $15,000.00 in FY 2026, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Downtown Lexington Corporation d/b/a Downtown Lexington Partnership, from account #1144-136102-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Purchase of Service Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
