Summary
Authorization to accept all bid responses submitted for RFQ #13-2026 for the Parks and Recreation Indefinite Services Contract for professional service prequalification, which will allow for indefinite service for design and engineering. It will allow quicker execution of hiring consultants and for Budgeting of phased work such as a preliminary design that can move into design and construction more efficiently. No Budgetary impact. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept bid responses to RFQ No. 13-2026, all of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the following engineering firms: MEP Engineering; Clark Dietz; Gresham Smith; Luckett & Farley; Strand; Banks; Bowman; Brandstetter Carroll; EHI; Mark Yanik; MKSK; TSW; Viox and Viox; Bell Engineering; Element Design; GAI; Joseph and Joseph; Lord Aeck Sargent; Cornerstone; McCoy; and Palmer, to provide services for the Division of Parks and Recreation under indefinite services Contracts for design and engineering services, with future work awarded and funds Budgeted on a project basis.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
