Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) classified position of Information Systems Business Analyst (526E) and create one (1) classified position of Director of Enterprise Solutions (Grade 533E), effective upon passage of Council. Upon the request of the division, to re-establish the position and in accordance with Section 21-2 (d) of the Code of Ordinances, the Division of Human Resources conducted a classification study on the requested position of Director of Enterprise Solutions. The position was analyzed by staff using the whole job rank and factor comparison methods. The outcome is a recommended for the division's requested position as described in this action. The fiscal impact for FY15 is $2,623 for 2 pay periods. The total annual impact is $34,101. (L0661-15)(Maxwell/Valicenti)

Section 1 - That subsection line number 085.016 in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is created to read as follows:
085.005 1 360 533E Director of Enterprise Solutions
Section 3 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government are amended and funds are appropriated pursuant to Budget Schedule No. 0068, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon date of passage.
