Summary
Authorization to amend Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances, abolishing one (1) position of Administrative Specialist Sr. (Grade 112N) in the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works and creating one position of Administrative Officer (Grade 118E) in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer;  this action also transfers two positions of Administrative Officer P/T (Grade 118E) and the incumbents from the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer to the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works.  (L-0281-13)  (Maxwell/Hamilton)
This is a request to amend Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances, abolishing one (1) position of Administrative Specialist Sr. (Grade 112N) in the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works and creating one position of Administrative Officer (Grade 118E) in the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer;  this action also transfers two positions of Administrative Officer P/T (Grade 118E) and the incumbents from the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer to the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works. The impact for FY2013 will be $5,900.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN
COUNTY GOVERNMENT:      
Section 1 - That subsection line numbers 050.021 and 370.040 of Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby are deleted.
      Section 2 - That the following subsection line numbers of Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby are amended to read as follows:
050.020            3            112       118E      Administrative Officer      
Section 3 - That the following subsection line number of Section 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is created to read as follows:
      370.038            2            122       118E      Administrative Officer P/T
 
      Section 4 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government are amended and funds are appropriated pursuant to Budget Schedule No. 0046, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.      
      Section 5 - That Paula King and Marian Zeitlin be and hereby are transferred from the Office of the CAO to the Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works at the current job title, pay grade and salary.
      Section 6 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon date of passage.
