Summary
Authorization to establish a Software Service Agreement with PowerDMS. PowerDMS is a robust but user friendly document management solution designed for Law Enforcement agencies with accreditation in mind. We are already required to use the standards portion of the PowerDMS to maintain accreditation compliance with The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement (CALEA). The purchase of this module is to allow us to host all of our policies in a cloud based solution. This solution allows us to push policy acknowledgment to all impacted employees and test the employee on the content if necessary. The software provides, an audit trail, version control, document control, and a workflow model this is far more efficient than the paper based system in place at this time.
This Agreement is fully Budgeted. Cost is $15,000. (L-1608-16) (Barnard/Bastin)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with PowerDMS, for software service.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $15,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to PowerDMS, from account # 1101-505502-76102, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
