This is a request to approve an agreement with the United States Geological Survey for the continued operation and maintenance of existing stream flow and rain gauges for the period July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.  Funding for this year's agreement for $115,740.00 is budgeted.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
      Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with U.S. Geological Survey, for the continuing and ongoing maintenance and operation of existing stream flow and precipitation gauges.
      Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $115,740.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to U.S. Geological Survey, from account #4051-303204-71205, pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.
      Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
