BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute six Community Project Agreements, awarded pursuant to RFP No. 28-2025 and paid for with Grant funds awarded under the Nonprofit Capital Grants Program-Facilities Improvements, with each of the following entities: Bluegrass Council of the Blind, Bluegrass Care Navigators/Hospice of the Bluegrass, Greenhouse17, Lexington Children’s Theatre, the Nathanial Mission, and the Urban League of Lexington Fayette County.
Section 2 - That amounts, not to exceed a total of $380,969.00 and the following sums stated for each individual entity, be and hereby are approved for payment to each of the following entities, contingent upon the approval of any necessary Budget amendments, and pursuant and subject to the terms of the respective final Agreements:
(a) Bluegrass Council of the Blind ($36,320.00), from account # 1101-900357-71101;
(b) Bluegrass Care Navigators/Hospice of the Bluegrass ($70,000.00), from account # 1101-900368-71101;
(c) Greenhouse17 ($68,463.00), from account # 1101-900304-71101;
(d) Lexington Children’s Theatre ($70,000.00), from account # 1101-900373-71101;
(e) The Nathanial Mission ($66,186.00), from account # 1101-900374-71101; and
(f) The Urban League of Lexington Fayette County ($70,000.00), from account # 1101-900206-71101.
Section 3 - That the Mayor or her designee is further authorized to execute any other necessary amendments, addenda or other documents with these entities related to these funds.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of passage.
