Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) classified position of Skilled Trades Worker Sr. (Grade 517N), and creating one (1) classified position of Fleet Operations Supervisor (Grade 519N) in the Division of Fire and Emergency Services, effective upon passage of Council. The division is requesting this position to insure that emergency response vehicles are capable of responding to Fire and Medical related emergencies. The new position will also instruct the mechanics in the use of diagnostic equipment, inspect completed work of mechanics, and research vehicle problems for pattern failures. This has a 12-month future impact of a cost of $5,831.09. Funds are budgeted. (L1323-15)(Maxwell/Bastin)
