Summary
Authorization to execute a Purchase of Services Agreement between the LFUCG and the Central Kentucky Housing and Homeless Initiative (CKHHI) for the purposes of CKHHI providing technical assistance to the Office of Homelessness Prevention & Intervention (OHPI). CKKHI will provide technical assistance associated with the transition of leadership for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Continuum of Care homelessness funding. CKHHI also serves as the fiscal agent for the Lexington Community Stand Down event serving people experiencing homelessness by providing flu shots, haircuts, clothing, housing, and various other direct services in a one-day blitz event. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Purchase of Service Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Central Kentucky Housing and Homeless Initiative (CKHHI), for provision of administrative support to the Office of Homelessness Prevention and Intervention (OHPI) and for sponsorship of the Annual Community Stand Down Event.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $10,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Central Kentucky Housing and Homeless Initiative (CKHHI), from account #s 1145-155003-71299 ($8,000.00) and 1145-155003-78112 ($2,000.00), pursuant to the terms of the Purchase of Service Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
