BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Division of Emergency Management/911 be and hereby is authorized to obtain all necessary equipment and services as may be funded for the Central Kentucky 911 Network, and as further described in the Sole Source Certification, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, on a multi-year basis, from AK Associates, Inc., a sole source provider.
Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to sign any necessary agreements or other documents related to obtaining this equipment and services.
Section 3 - That an estimated amount, not to exceed the sum of $2,000,000.00 in FY2015, but based upon the actual additional funding received for the Central Kentucky 911 Network as provided by the participating entities or other sources, be and hereby is approved for payment to AK Associates, Inc., from account #4205-505602-96202 ($228,161.50), account #4205-505602-96201 ($119,872.50), account #4205-505602-71208 ($122,638.50), and account #4205-505602-75101 ($5,760.00), for the above equipment and services.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
