BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 -- That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Subrecipient Agreement, subject to final approval by the LFUCG Department of Law and Division of Grants and Special Programs, with the Hope Center in order to allocate $2,000,000.00 of federal Grant funds awarded pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA), for the construction of a second floor to the emergency shelter, and authorizing the Mayor to execute any other necessary Agreements or amendments with the Hope Center related to the use of these funds.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $2,000,000.00, be and hereby is authorized for payment to the Hope Center from account #3230-900311-71101, subject to the terms of the Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
