This is a request to amend Section 21-5 of the Code of Ordinances, abolishing one (1) position of Life Skills Program Instructor (Grade 110E) and one (1) position of Community Corrections Lieutenant (Grade 114E); creating one (1) position of Life Skills Program Specialist, (Grade 113E) and one (1) position of Community Reentry Coordinator (Grade 115E) in the Division of Community Corrections. The impact for FY 2013 (16 pay periods) is a cost savings of $9,133.34. Budget amendment in process.

Section 1 - That subsection line number 540.093 of Section 21-5(2) of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is deleted.
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number of Section 21-5(2) of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is created to read as follows:
540.067 1 974 113E Life Skills Program Specialist
540.030 1 976 115E Community Reentry Coordinator
Section 3 - That the following subsection line numbers of Section 21-5(2) of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby are amended to read as follows:
540.040 5 983 114E Community Corrections Lieutenant
Section 4 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government are amended and funds are appropriated pursuant to Budget Schedule No. 0028, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 5 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon date of passage.
