Authorization to approve Change Order #1 (Final) to the LFUCG Contract with Free Contracting, Inc. for construction services associated with the Marquis Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, Resolution No. 421-2016 dated June 23, 2016. This Change Order is to adjust all original quantities to reflect actual installed amounts, to add services required for project completion and to compensate Contractor for additional expenses incurred. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (Final), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Agreement with Free Contracting, Inc., for the Marquis Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project, increasing the Contract price by the sum of $8,800.00 from $464,575.04 to $473,375.04.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $8,800.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Free Contracting, Inc., from account # 4003 - 303410 - 92811, pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
