BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute eight Community Project Agreements, awarded pursuant to RFP No. 29-2025 and paid for with Grant funds awarded under the Nonprofit Capital Grants Program-Operational Investments, with each of the following entities: Bluegrass Care Navigators/Hospice of the Bluegrass, Children’s Advocacy of the Bluegrass, God’s Pantry Food Bank, Independence Place, Lexington Habitat for Humanity, Moveable Feast, New Beginnings Bluegrass, and The Nest.
Section 2 - That amounts, not to exceed a total of $223,408.00 and the following sums stated for each individual entity, be and hereby are approved for payment to each of the following entities, contingent upon the approval of any necessary Budget amendments, and pursuant and subject to the terms of the respective final Agreements:
(a) Bluegrass Care Navigators/Hospice of the Bluegrass ($30,000.00), from account # 1101-900368-71101;
(b) Children’s Advocacy of the Bluegrass ($21,684.00), from account # 1101-900248-71101;
(c) God’s Pantry Food Bank ($30,000.00), from account # 1101-900323-71101;
(d) Independence Place ($29,201.00), from account # 1101-900385-71101;
(e) Lexington Habitat for Humanity ($29,523.00), from account # 1101-900205-71101;
(f) Moveable Feast ($29,000.00), from account # 1101-900324-71101;
(g) New Beginnings Bluegrass ($30,000.00), from account # 1101-900235-71101; and
(h) The Nest ($24,000), from account # 1101-900306-71101.
Section 3 - That the Mayor or her designee is further authorized to execute any other necessary amendments, addenda or other documents with these entities related to these funds.
Section 4 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of passage.
