Summary

Authorization to amend Sections 21-5, 22-5 and 23-5 of the Code of Ordinances, creating positions that were funded and approved in the FY 2016 budget process, to become effective July 1, 2015. The action is also requesting authorization to abolish two (2) and create two (2) unclassified positions in the Office of the Mayor,  abolish one (1) and create one (1) unclassified position Office of the CAO, and abolish two (2) and create two (2) unclassified positions in the Office of the Commissioner of Social Services, all effective June 29, 2015.  Funds for all positions are budgeted in the FY 2016 budget.
