BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept a $10,000.00 award from the Jessamine County Fiscal Court for the support of planning activities and operating costs related to the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for Jessamine County, located within the Division of Planning, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Urban County Government to the expenditure of funds, and authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, to execute any necessary agreements related to this Grant.
Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Section 7-48 of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Code of Ordinances, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant budget previously established for this Grant.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
