Summary

Authorization to accept Risk Management Services Company (“RMSC”) as the selected vendor for the services requested in RFP No. 12-2016 Third Party Administrator for Claims Management Services and Claims Adjustment Handling Services for Workers Compensation, Auto Liability and Physical Damage, General Liability, and Property Claims and to enter into a multiyear (3 years with option to renew for 2 additional one-year periods) services Agreement with RMSC.  The cost of this Agreement in FY17 is an amount estimated not to exceed $343,200.00 plus 20% of subrogation.                      BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the multi-year Agreement (awarded pursuant to RFP No. 12-2016), which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Risk Management Services Company, for third party administrator for claims management services and claims adjustment handling services for workers’ compensation, auto liability and physical damage, general liability, and property claims.

                     Section 2 - That an amount estimated not to exceed the sum of $343,200.00, plus 20% of subrogation, be and hereby is approved for payment to Risk Management Services Company in FY2017, from account #6021-160906-0001-71299 pursuant to the terms of the Agreement.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
