Summary
Authorization to abolish one (1) unclassified position of Eligibility Counselor (Grade 513E) and create one (1) unclassified position of Life Skills Program Instructor (Grade 512N); reclassifying the incumbent within the Division of Youth Services, effective upon passage of Council. Upon the request of the div., the Division of Human Resources conducted a reclassification study on the requested position of Eligibility Counselor held by John Walker within the Division of Youth Services. As a result, a recommendation for the reclassification is described in this action. There will be no change in his salary and this will not have a 12-month future impact cost. COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That subsection line number 650.050 in the unclassified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is deleted.
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the unclassified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is created to read as follows:
650.060 1 994 512N Life Skills Program Instructor
Section 3 - That the incumbent, John Walker, be and hereby is reclassified from Eligibility Counselor, Grade 513E, at $1,782.96 biweekly to Life Skills Program Instructor, Grade 512N, at $22.287 hourly.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective on passage of Council.
