BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute an Agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with the Tides Center, in order to retain Cities United, a Tides Center project, in a consultation role for One Lexington in order to develop a strategic plan to reduce violence and gun-related homicides.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed $100,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to the Tides Center and/or Cities United from account #3300-133006-71299, pursuant to the terms of the Professional Services Agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
