BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to approve and adopt Substantial Amendments to the 2019 Annual Action Plan, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and to accept $1,427,971.00 in Federal Community Block Development Grant funds and $710,986.00 in Federal Emergency Solutions Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) for response to COVID-19, at no additional cost to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. 

                     Section 2 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to approve and adopt a revised Citizen Participation Plan, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, that allows for virtual public hearings and a reduced public comment period during a global pandemic or other disasters, as permitted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
