Summary

Authorization to amend the Classified Civil Service authorized strength, to include changes in classification, pay grade and pay resulting from the Final Administrative Review Process, effective November 7, 2022, the implementation date of the compensation study. All requests have been thoroughly studied and their outcomes have been provided to each affected employee in the form of letters sent to their home address. The anticipated general fund cost for this action will be approximately $2,310.95. Funds are Budgeted. (L0789-23) (Walters/Hamilton)

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the following subSection line numbers in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby are deleted:

                     Section 2 - That the following subSection line number in the Classified Civil Service authorized strength be and hereby is amended to read as follows:

                     360.065                     3                     658                     515N                     Traffic Signs Technician

                     Section 3 - That the following incumbent be and hereby is reclassified in the Classified Civil Service, as follows:

A.                     Richard Morgan, from Engineering Aide Sr., Grade 514N, to Traffic Signs Technician, Grade 515N, at $23.364 hourly.

                     Section 4 - That the following incumbent be and hereby is reclassified in the Classified Civil Service, with no change in biweekly salary or hourly rate, as follows:

A.                     Cory House, from Engineering Technician, Grade 515N, to Traffic Signs Technician, Grade 515N.

Section 5 - That this Ordinance shall be effective as of November 7, 2022.
