Summary
Authorization to execute a Professional Services Agreement between the LFUCG and Bluegrass Greensource in response to RFP #23-2015 for environmental education and outreach services in Fayette County related to recycling, waste management, litter reduction, energy efficiency, Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) control, and stormwater quality. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the response of Bluegrass Greensource, Inc., to RFP No. 23-2015 - Consulting Services for Environmental Public Education Program, be and hereby is accepted, and the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute the Consulting Services Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, with Bluegrass Greensource, Inc., to provide services related to the RFP, at a cost not to exceed $580,000.00.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $580,000.00, be and hereby is approved for payment to Bluegrass Greensource, Inc., from account #1115-303501-71299 ($300,000.00), 1115-313201-71299 ($5,000.00), 1115-313201-71299 ($10,000.00), 1115-313201-71299 ($5,000.00), 4002-313201-71299 ($55,000.00), and 4051-313201-71299 ($205,000.00), pursuant to the terms of the agreement.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
