Summary
Authorization to submit an application to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Office of Local Programs and to the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization requesting Federal funds in the amount of $1,024,000 from the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) for the Brighton Trail Connection and Harrodsburg Road Trail. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit a grant application to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - Office of Local Programs, and to the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, seeking up to $1,024,000.00 in federal funds from the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) for the Brighton Trail Connection and the Harrodsburg Road Trail.
Section 2 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
