BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:

                     Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute and submit the Grant Application, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Kentucky Department of Education, Division of School and Community Nutrition seeking $79,000.00 in Federal funds for participation in the United States Department of Agriculture’s Child Care Food Program, for provision of breakfast, lunch, and supplements to children at the Family Care Center in FY 2023, to provide any additional information requested in connection with this Grant Application, and to accept this Grant if the application is approved, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.

                     Section 2 - That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 97-21, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account appropriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grant Budget previously established for this Grant.

                     Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
