Summary
Authorization to Execute Change Order #1 with Riddell Construction Inc. in the credit amount of $247.62 for the Coroner/CAC Renovation Contract #338-2014. The new contract total is $597,472.38 and an additional eight (8) working days will be added to the schedule due to adverse weather (snow). An existing door was infilled with fire rated construction instead of replacement thus creating a savings while an electric panelboard circuit replacement created an expense. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized to execute Change Order No. 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, to the Contract with Riddell Construction, Inc., for the Coroner/Community Action Center Renovation Project, decreasing the contract price by the sum of $247.62 from $597.720.00 to $597,472.38.
Section 2 - That an amount, not to exceed the sum of $247.62, be and hereby is approved to be credited to account #2603-707501-7041-91018 pursuant to the terms of the Change Order.
Section 3 - That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
