This is to request authorization to amend Section 21-5 and 22-5 of the Code of Ordinances by abolishing two classified (2) positions of Treatment Plant Operator Apprentice (Grade 107N) and creating one unclassified (1) position of Treatment Plant Operator Apprentice (Grade 107N) in the Division of Water Quality. This is budget neutral.

COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That subsection line number 340.165 of Section 21-5(2) of the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is deleted.
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number of Section 22-5(2) of
the Code of Ordinances be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
340.040 2 752 107N Treatment Plant Operator - Apprentice
Section 3 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government are amended and funds are appropriated pursuant to Budget Schedule No. 0007, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 4 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon date of passage.
