BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to accept Grant funds in the amount of $30,720.00 in Federal funds under the CARES Act from the Kentucky State Board of Elections, for the purpose of reimbursing expenses of the Fayette County Clerk’s Office for hiring additional staff during the 2020 primary election as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the acceptance of which does not obligate the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government for the expenditure of funds.
Section 2 -That subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 22-79, the Mayor is hereby authorized, in her discretion as Chief Executive Officer of the Urban County Government, to transfer the unencumbered balance of any operating or capital account ap-propriation to another operating or capital account appropriation within the Grants budget established for this Grant.
Section 3 -That this Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
