BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the Mayor, on behalf of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute a Memorandum of Understanding, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference, with the University of Kentucky, defining the fee-splitting requirement within Chapter 17D of the Code of Ordinances; the University of Kentucky’s duties relating to dockless vehicles on its campus; and the provision of shared mobility data management software accounts to the University of Kentucky.
Section 2 - That the University of Kentucky shall be entitled under the Memorandum of Understanding to a percentage of per trip fees paid by Licensees; and that the provision of shared mobility data management software accounts to the University of Kentucky shall be deducted from the number of accounts the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government purchases under a separate resolution. As such, this Memorandum of Understanding shall be at no additional cost to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
Section 3 - This Resolution shall become effective on the date of its passage.
