Summary
Authorization to transfer one (1) vacant classified position of Arborist (Grade 517E) from the Division of Streets and Roads to the Division of Environmental Services, effective upon passage of Council. This action is being requested to as part of the reorganization that occurred in November 2014 related to urban forestry and landscape maintenance responsibilities. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE LEXINGTON-FAYETTE URBAN
COUNTY GOVERNMENT:
Section 1 - That the following subsection line number of the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is amended to read as follows:
330.013 1 830 517E Arborist
Section 2 - That the following subsection line number in the classified civil service authorized strength be and hereby is created to read as follows:
390.037 1 830 517E Arborist
Section 3 - That the vacant classified civil service position be and hereby is transferred at the current job classification, pay grade and salary from the Division of Streets and Roads to the Division of Environmental Services.
Section 4 - That certain of the Budgets of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government are amended and funds are appropriated pursuant to Budget Schedule No. 0067, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 5 - That this Ordinance shall become effective upon passage.
